Part 13: Final Review & Practice Exam

Synthesizing the ADM and Validating Your Knowledge

1. The "Must-Know" Glossary

The Level 1 exam frequently tests your ability to distinguish between similar-sounding terms. Review these critical definitions one last time:

Term A Term B The Key Difference
Deliverable Artifact Deliverables are formal/contractual; Artifacts are the views (diagrams) inside them.
Architecture Solutions Architecture is the blueprint (Design); Solutions are the physical products (Build).
Baseline Target Baseline is "As-Is" (Today); Target is "To-Be" (Future).

2. Final Exam Strategy Checklist

Before you begin the mock test, keep these exam-taking strategies in mind:

  • Keywords: Look for "Shall" vs. "Should." "Shall" indicates a mandatory requirement.
  • ADM Center: Remember that Requirements Management is in the center and touches every phase.
  • Tailoring: The ADM is *always* tailored in the Preliminary Phase.
  • Elimination: Cross out obviously wrong generic answers; TOGAF answers are specific to the framework.

3. Take Practice Exam #1

This exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. You need 60% (24 correct) to pass the real exam. Set a timer for 60 minutes to simulate the testing environment.
